Terms of Service

Klimbins is early-stage and still being actively built. These terms cover the product as it exists today and will be revised as features mature — we'll update the date above whenever that happens. By using Klimbins, you agree to these terms. Questions can go to amtplified@gmail.com.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Klimbins' web app or Chrome extension ("Klimbins," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Klimbins is a productivity and automation tool that helps you track tasks, notes, and decisions, build automations, and use AI-assisted features like suggestions, screen recording, and Gmail-based automations. Klimbins is under active, early-stage development — features may change, break, or be removed without notice while we build toward a stable release.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Klimbins.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials (including any linked Google account) secure, and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Klimbins for anything illegal, or to violate someone else's rights (including privacy and intellectual property rights).
Use the automation or Gmail-connection features to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or deceptive messages.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Klimbins' systems.
Use the screen-recording feature to capture people without their knowledge or consent where consent is legally required.
Upload or generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

6. Third-party services

Klimbins integrates with third-party services, including Google (Sign-In, Gmail, Gemini) and Supabase (hosting/storage). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the relevant provider's own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services, and connecting or disconnecting them is under your control at all times.

7. AI-generated content

Klimbins uses AI (including Google's Gemini) to generate suggestions, summaries, drafts, and analysis of your content and recordings. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You're responsible for reviewing anything AI-generated before relying on it or sending it to someone else — this is especially true for automations that draft or send emails on your behalf.

8. Automations

Automations you build in Klimbins take real actions — for example, creating tasks or drafting/sending emails — based on triggers you configure. You're responsible for testing and reviewing your automations. Klimbins is not liable for actions an automation takes as configured by you, including messages sent through a connected Gmail account.

9. Screen recording

The screen-recording feature captures whatever you select when you start it (a tab, window, or your full screen), including anything visible or audible during that capture. You are solely responsible for having the legal right and any necessary consent to record what you choose to record, including other people's screens, voices, or communications, where consent is required by law in your jurisdiction.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload in Klimbins (tasks, notes, recordings, automations, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you — including sending it to AI providers when you ask Klimbins to analyze or act on it.

11. Intellectual property

Klimbins' product, branding, and underlying software are our property (or our licensors'). These terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.

12. Fees

Klimbins is currently free to use while we build out the product. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we'll give you clear notice before any charge applies to you.

13. Termination

You can stop using Klimbins and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, or if we discontinue the service — where reasonably possible, we'll give notice first.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

⚠️ Legal review required — standard "AS IS" disclaimer language below should be confirmed against your jurisdiction's consumer-protection requirements before general availability.

Klimbins is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. Given the product is still in active development, expect bugs, incomplete features, and occasional downtime.

15. Limitation of liability

⚠️ Legal review required — this clause needs jurisdiction-specific review and should not be relied on as final before launch.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klimbins and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damages resulting from automations, AI-generated content, or screen recordings.

16. Governing law

⚠️ Legal review required — governing law and venue have not yet been finalized.

17. Changes to these terms

Because Klimbins is still being built, these terms will change as features mature. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
